At 9:00PM (Melbourne time) on Sunday May 3rd 2015 , over 73,000 athletes in 35 locations around the globe simultaneously set off on the Red Bull Wings for Life World Run. This is the second year for the event, which helps raise funds for spinal injury research.

In Melbourne over 2100 people took part, with the race winner managing to run over 70km before the "Catcher Car" finally overtook them.

LED LENSER were a major sponsor of the Australian leg of this event, with each runner receiving a free H series headlamp to help light their way along the racetrack.
